Sustainably Styled (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides workshops and presentations related to sustainability, personal styling, home organizing and sustainable living services to individuals and businesses. “Service” or “Services” includes ‘Private Group Workshops’, ‘Corporate and Educational Presentations’, ‘Custom Workshops / Events’, ‘Wardrobe Edit’, ‘Healthy Home Audit’ and ‘Organized Living’ consultations and related services provided by Sustainably Styled.
Use of Website
In order to use our Website and/or receive our Services, you must meet one of the following requirements:

You may not use the Website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. In addition to the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, you also agree to comply with all local laws that apply to your use of the Website.
You may not use the Website in any manner which could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Website, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Website.
You agree that you are responsible for your own conduct and communications while using the Website and for any consequences of that use.
Sustainably Styled reserves the right to remove individuals from our community in instances of misconduct.

We are truly honoured when people want to share our work; however, we only authorize the use of one photo with a direct, clear link back to that corresponding post or page on www.sustainablystyled.ca. (e) MARKETING:
Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent of Sustainably Styled. Brands must contact us for permission to use our photos and to inquire about purchasing our photos for marketing purposes. We also do not allow our images to be used under any circumstances for affiliate marketing. This includes, but is not limited to, websites that share a high/low segment, social media, blog posts, websites and email campaigns. All images are copyright protected and the property of Sustainably Styled unless otherwise noted.
(f) UNAUTHORIZED USE:
You shall promptly notify Sustainably Styled in writing upon your discovery of any unauthorized use or infringement of the Website or the Content, or Sustainably Styled’s copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights. Except as expressly provided for herein, any copy or use of any portion of the Website shall constitute an act of copyright infringement and a breach of this Agreement. Furthermore, Sustainably Styled may in its sole discretion pursue any other available rights or remedies at law or in equity for a violation of this Agreement or such copyright infringement.

You hereby fully and completely hold harmless, indemnify and release Sustainably Styled and any of its agents, consultants, affiliates, team members, joint venture partners, employees, shareholders, directors, staff, or anyone otherwise affiliated with the business from any and all causes of action, allegations, suits, claims, damages, or demands whatsoever, in law or equity, that may arise in the past, present or future that is in any way related to our Website or Services.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sustainably Styled assumes no liability or responsibility for any

Choice of Law & Consent to Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service, your use of the Website, any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the Services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the laws of Canada, excluding its conflict of laws principles.

You and Sustainably Styled agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Website must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.

Information submitted through the Contact Us form is not used for anything other than responding to your request. By submitting an email via the contact form on this website, you will not be added to any of our mailing lists.

At Sustainably Styled we believe it is a privilege to work with our clients and be invited into their homes and businesses. We take your privacy seriously and will never use or publish any photos, testimonials, or information about our sessions without your consent. This section describes our offerings and client-consultant expectations for our Services and products we currently offer.
Confidentiality
Sustainably Styled, its owner and consultants acknowledge that clients may share confidential personal and/or business information and agrees to keep and maintain such information confidential and not to disclose or use such information without a client’s prior written consent.
However, this information may be released if
(1) A client gives specific permission to release the information; and/or
(2) Sustainably Styled, its owner or a consultant is required to release the information by law.
Clients should be aware that some means of communication such as wireless telephones and e-mail may not be secure from eavesdropping.

Offerings
The prices we charge for using our Services and/or products are listed on the Website. We reserve the right to change our prices for Services and/or products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
All descriptions of products or Services and associated pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any Service or product at any time and to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. Any offer for any product or Service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We may, without prior notice, change the Website or Services; stop providing the Website, Services, products, or any features of the Website or Services we offer; or create limits for the Website or Services. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.
We may refuse to provide in-person Services for any reason, including because it is outside the geographic area that we serve (currently Ottawa and surrounding areas, ON, Canada).
Payment & Consultation Policies
CONSULTATION CONTRACT:
If you wish to purchase any product or Service made available through the Website (“Purchase”), you may be asked to complete a “Client Consent & Liability Release” form with Sustainably Styled and supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your name, phone number, email address, physical address, and geographic location. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information on how we use your personal information.
SERVICES DEPOSIT:
Sustainably Styled reserves the right to require a deposit equal to the first hour of Service or 50% of the total cost of the chosen service package to be paid prior to commencing a service. The remaining payment for each session will be charged after the session is completed (i.e. Upon completion of a session, your deposit is credited towards the total price and the remaining balance is due).
Payments may be made via email-transfer to sustainablystyledbybrittany@gmail.com or through Stripe. You represent that you will not use any form of payment unless you have all necessary authorization to do so.
AGE REQUIREMENT:
All consultation sessions (Wardrobe Edit, Healthy Home Audit, and Organized Living), workshops and presentations are intended to support personal growth and healthy living. Those participating within the session must be 18 years of age or older. If someone under the age of 18 is present, a parent or guardian must also be present during this time and written consent must be provided.
CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS:
If you, the client, or a consultant with Sustainably Styled is feeling the consultation session is not working and/or is not what you/(s)he/they expected, both the client and/or consultant have every right to call the session to an end. We also reserve the right to refuse Service(s) to anyone, for any reason, at any time, without prior notice or consent.
Out of respect for our consultants, we encourage clients to express their concerns within the first 15 minutes of the session and a refund will be offered of monies paid, less a $20 deposit amount. Sustainably Styled cannot offer a refund at a later time or date. Sustainably Styled will take each unique situation into account and kindly ask that clients provide 24 hours notice when cancelling or modifying an appointment.
BELONGINGS:
Clients are responsible for their own belongings during the course of any consultation session. Sustainably Styled makes every effort to provide a clear system of organization and respects personal property; however, we are not responsible for any lost or misplaced property during the course of consultation sessions and will only remove client belongings from the premises with prior consent from the client (for example, if a client has arranged for a Consultant to donate items on their behalf).
COVID:
If required to quarantine, appointments can be rescheduled and we will contact you 1-2 days prior to the appointment to conduct a screening to make sure all is safe. Consultants and Clients will be required to wear a mask during the visit.

Client-Consultant Contract
In order to understand and clarify the Services and relationship, the Client and Sustainably Styled Consultant acknowledge and agree that:
(i) Consulting is a relationship whose parameters are defined by a Client-Consultant Contract, and which is based on the Client’s expressed interests, goals and objectives. To this end, the Consultant uses discussion, questions and requests to assist each Client and identify personal and/or business goals, develop strategies and action plans intended to achieve such goals, and monitor progress towards implementation of the action plans, all in relation to styling, healthy living, and/ or organizing.
(ii) Sustainably Styled and its Consultants do not provide counselling, therapy, or unsolicited advice to the Client. If issues arise that are best dealt with in another context, the Consultant will refer the Client to an appropriate professional. Further, the Client promises to notify the Consultant of any difficulties or needs that warrant additional professional services.
(iii) As a client, you aim to accurately represent the information provided to Sustainably Styled and its consultants on or through our Website, in personal communications and/or in conjunction with our Services. You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily in using our Website or Services and that you are solely and personally responsible for your choices, actions and results, now and in the future. You accept full responsibility for the consequences of your use, or non-use, of any information provided by Sustainably Styled, and agree to use your own judgment and due diligence before implementing any idea, suggestion or recommendation.
(iv) Each client is responsible for his/her own achievements and success and Sustainably Styled cannot and does not promise that Clients will take any specific action or attain specific goals. Sustainably Styled is here to support and assist you in reaching your own goals, but your success depends primarily on your own specific situation. Sustainably Styled cannot predict and does not guarantee that you will attain a particular result, and you accept and understand that results differ for each individual. Each individual’s results depend on his, her / their unique situation. You fully agree that there are no guarantees as to the specific outcome or results you can expect from using the information and Services you receive on or through this Website.
(iv) Services are available for the stipulated term. This Agreement will begin with an initial package term and may continue thereafter if the Client chooses, with the purchase of an additional package, or time.
Virtual Sessions
Clients are responsible for the time and date of their session. Please note that our system will offer you a Sustainably Styled Consultant’s availability based on Eastern Standard Time (EST), unless otherwise indicated. All virtual sessions will take place via Google Meet, Zoom or FaceTime.
If you are late to a session Sustainably Styled will attempt to honour your time, but cannot go over the time allocated for your session due to potential scheduling conflicts.
